General conditions for EU projects
With the 6th/7th Framework Programme the demands of the EU Commission on project management have risen dramatically, especially due to greater personal responsibility and flexibility of the consortia concerning financial and organisatorial matters.
The consortia not only commit themselves to their scientific task but also to establishing effective management structures. Costs for project management are reimbursed up to a maximum of 7% of the total project cost and independent of the selected cost model of 100%.
